A streamlined Hong Kong entry route for high-income individuals and graduates of eligible top universities, organized under Categories A, B and C.

TTPS

TTPS attracts high-income individuals and graduates from eligible universities. After approval, applicants can usually take up employment, change jobs, establish a business or join a business in Hong Kong.

Who it fits

  • Applicants with annual income of HKD 2.5 million or more, or equivalent foreign currency, in the year immediately before application
  • Bachelor’s degree holders from eligible universities with at least three years of work experience accumulated in the five years immediately before application
  • Recent graduates of eligible universities with less than three years of work experience, subject to an annual quota and first-come-first-served allocation

Assessment route / category

  • Category A: annual income of HKD 2.5 million or more, or equivalent foreign currency, in the year immediately before application.
  • Category B: a bachelor’s degree from an eligible university plus at least three years of work experience in the five years immediately before application.
  • Category C: recent graduates of eligible universities with less than three years of work experience, subject to an annual quota.
  • Category C normally does not apply to non-local students who obtained a bachelor’s degree in a full-time locally accredited programme in Hong Kong; those applicants should usually consider IANG.

Stay arrangement after approval

  • Category A applicants are usually first granted 36 months of stay.
  • Category B/C applicants are usually first granted 24 months of stay.
  • Eligible dependants may accompany the applicant.

Extension direction

  • Extensions usually require evidence of employment with stable income in Hong Kong, or that the applicant has established or joined a business in Hong Kong.
  • After ordinarily residing in Hong Kong for a continuous period of not less than 7 years, an applicant may apply for Hong Kong permanent resident status according to law.
